SARM survived the cold spell with a packed house (up to 35 men) and donations of jackets and sweaters. We have been blessed with many meals and donations since mid-January. The Trinity Baptist Missions Team provided chicken and rice casserole with broccoli and cheese on Jan. 27th and served another great meal on Feb. 9 which included sausage, rice, beans and macaroni salad. Rubens Homemade Tamales generously donated 20 dozen tamales and 45 large sodas on Jan. 30! Priscilla Lamb, David Lamb's daughter, created a magnificent meatloaf with mashed potatoes and gravy on Jan. 31. Well-stocked hygiene kits were donated by Woodland Church. One of our homeless guests Adam Barron, gave back to the Mission by providing two dinners of his savory Caldo stew with chicken, potatoes, carrots, tomatoes and onions. This week an anonymous donor gave us 12 racks of pork ribs and 16 roasted chickens along with 48 cans of soda.
SARM is so blessed and we thank God for all that we receive.
THANKS TO EVERYONE WHO DONATED.
Happy Valentine's Day!
